North Steyne: Manly Beach was the scene of a different kind of life-saving mission yesterday after a council ranger spotted a mother green turtle on the sand in the early hours of the morning. But it's what she left behind - 144 sea turtle eggs - that set off a delicate search in front of excited locals.
