In "Bedtime For Sniffles" (1940), Sniffles the mouse attempts to stay up late on Christmas Eve to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus. This scene, where he drinks coffee and dances to the radio, is one of the most elegant pieces of animation done in a Warner Bros. cartoon. The sole credited animator on this cartoon is Robert Cannon, although Ken Harris, Rudy Larriva, and Phil Monroe were also animators in Chuck Jones' unit at the time.
