In the UFC 319 preliminary card opener Saturday, Morales (13-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) dominated the heavy favorite Alibi Idiris to win "The Ultimate Fighter 33" flyweight tournament. Morales submitted Idiris (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) by triangle choke at 3:04 of Round 2. The event took place at United Center in Chicago.

UFC 319 will be headlined by a championship matchup at middleweight when Dricus Du Plessis defends his title against fast-rising wrecking machine Khamzat Chimaev. The event will also include the returns of Octagon stars Lerone Murphy, Edson Barboza, Jessica Andrade, Jared Cannonier, and Carlos Prates.

Middleweights Baisangur Susurkaev and Eric Nolan were added to the card in the featured prelim slot for their official UFC debuts. Susurkaev was a first-round winner on the Contender Series just four days ago while Nolan arrives having won four straight and eight of 11 overall in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion.
