PHOENIZ, Arizona (WKBN) – The Cleveland Guardians are promoting pitcher Parker Messick to the Major League roster. The left-hander will make his Major League debut in Wednesday’s series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks at 3:40 p.m. ET.

Cal Quantrill was a staple of the Guardians' rotation for parts of four seasons. While he's now available on waivers, the Guardians should avoid going after him.
