Former Texans receiver John Metchie participated in his first Eagles' practice on Tuesday and is already building chemistry with the quarterbacks.

Metchie, who was acquired Sunday from Houston, is close with DeVonta Smith from their time together at Alabama, and also has crossed paths with Jahan Dotson.

Giles Jackson made a deep catch for a touchdown in 1-on-1s where the ball initially bounced off him and/or the defending AJ Woods but Jackson still managed to track it and catch it after going to the ground. That drew some excitement from the crowd at practice.
