Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he has spoken to his Ferrari F1 team after they ignored his strategy calls at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton says Ferrari is “in the mix” at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix after a competitive showing at Silverstone on Friday. Hamilton led the way in FP1 before taking third in Friday's second practice session behind Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, as Ferrari looks to be McLaren's closest rival both in qualifying laps and on long runs.

Lewis Hamilton has spoken with Ferrari about his concerns over being put on the “exact same strategy” as Charles Leclerc in Austria, saying he doesn’t want it to get to the point that he “ignores” team instructions.
