The Salt Path author ‘heartbroken’ as she defends accuracy of book - The Observer newspaper reported that Raynor Winn may have misrepresented the events that led to the couple losing their home.

Penguin has defended its publication of The Salt Path, saying it undertook due diligence and received a legal assurance from Raynor Winn that the book was factually true.
