Detroit Lions wide receiver Jackson Meeks has been one of the biggest preseason standouts for the team, but that wasn't enough for one analyst to include Meeks in his final 53-man roster projection.

Detroit's defense is anchored by a back end that is going to make life difficult for opposing offenses. Brian Branch had a solid camp and Kerby Joseph is working his way back from knee irritation. Both should be in the conversation for All-Pro and Pro Bowl-caliber seasons.

Hendon Hooker finished the preseason with five turnovers and no touchdowns and led the Lions to scores on one of his 20 drives as QB.
