Signs continue to point toward the Bosa brothers teaming up on the 49ers' defense. The Niners were pegged as a likely landing spot for edge rusher Joey Bosa when the Chargers released him last week and Tim Kawakami of the San Francisco Standard reports that he has been having "good conversations" with the team.

The Chargers' edge rusher room could lose its top two guys this offseason. After the release of Joey Bosa, it is suddenly a major area of need.

"Meanwhile, I've heard Joey Bosa and 49ers are having good conversations and this feels like it's headed toward a deal," Kawakami wrote on X. "Nothing is done, but the Bosa brothers want to be together and probably will get there this year. Which likely means this will be a moderate deal + incentives."

The Dolphins, who have some familiarity with the Bosa family (albeit decades ago), have entered the mix for Joey Bosa.
