This went public mid-week, with the NFL pulling back the curtain on Pro Bowl coaches ahead of the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. On the AFC side, Bengals wideout coach Troy Walters will serve as the offensive coordinator for the team overseen by head coach Peyton Manning.

After days of reports and speculation following Notre Dame’s national championship loss to Ohio State, the Cincinnati Bengals announced on Thursday afternoon that Golden has been hired as the team’s next defensive coordinator.

The Bengals have finalized an agreement to make Al Golden their next defensive coordinator. They're also hiring Jerry Montgomery to be their defensive line coach according to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic.

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was ranked as the NFL's top free agent in a list released by USA Today on Wednesday.
