After escaping with two wins in the first four games of their Western Conference playoff series, the Denver Nuggets had their best showing against the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 on Tuesday night thanks to Jamal Murray's 43-point night.

Murray makes eight 3-pointers on his way to 43 points, Russell Westbrook scores 21 off the bench and the Nuggets hand the Clippers a 131-115 defeat in Denver. Game 6 is Thursday in Inglewood.

This is the Jamal Murray Nuggets fans have been waiting for this postseason. With this version of Murray, playing off Nikola Jokic, the Denver Nuggets resemble their 2023 championship team. The issue this season has been that version of Murray has not been around consistently.
