The father of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was arrested in connection with a Wednesday night stabbing in Las Vegas.

Jaylen Brown has watched his Boston Celtics fall hard over the last several months. First, Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles during the second round of the playoffs. Then, the Celtics traded Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday and allowed both Al Horford and Luke Kornet to depart via free agency.

Brown's father, Quenton Marselles Brown, was detained on Wednesday. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
