The Hoops were facing a suspended ban but have escaped with a fine from UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.
It had been feared that UEFA may choose to issue a ban upon Celtic supporters after a smoke bomb was thrown on the pitch during their recent 4-2 defeat at Aston Villa.
