This is the first time in nine seasons as a professional that Xander Schauffele has suffered a major injury. Schauffele has won nine times on the PGA Tour, including two major championships, both in 2024 (PGA Championship, The Open Championship).

Xander Schauffele has a new target date to return to the PGA Tour: the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, which begins March 6. Schauffele has been sidelined with a rib injury since the opening match of TGL and last played on Tour at The Sentry, the kickoff to the 2025 season in Maui.
