Winter weather conditions are expected to persist in North Texas throughout Thursday evening and overnight into Friday, with more than four inches of snow and sleet already reported in parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Areas with snow cover will be most prone to fog formation. With the freezing fog, black ice is likely to form on the roads. Visibility will be below 3 miles. The advisory is in effect until Saturday at 9 a.m. when temperatures will begin creeping back up.
