Bubba Wallace has made it clear he now wants to be known more for being a race car driver than a social justice warrior.

The No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota driver will be starting the Daytona 500 from the third position in row two. Wallace has five top-5 finishes at Daytona International Speedway, including being the Daytona 500 runner-up twice.

Bubba Wallace won the first of two qualifying races for the Daytona 500. He showed enough speed to make him one of the favorites heading into “The Great American Race.”

The win puts Wallace in the third starting spot for the Daytona 500, a race he’s never won but twice finished runner up.
