National Weather Service forecasts are calling for up to 10 inches of snow in Colorado’s northern mountains between 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, according to a winter weather advisory.
The first snow of the season finally came down in Denver weather, but the metro area for the most part saw less than an inch. Meanwhile, some mountain areas got a good dose of up to nearly a foot of much-needed snow.
With only a few flakes recorded in Colorado Springs this season, meteorologists predict similar weather for Thanksgiving weekend. According to meteorologist Kyle Mozley with the National Weather Service in Pueblo,
