Mostly sunny weather and temperatures as high as 60 degrees are expected to last throughout the week in the Baltimore area, according to the National Weather Service.

The Baltimore area’s cold and windy weather is expected to give way to warmer temperatures later this weekend and into next week. Saturday’s forecast calls for increasing clouds and calm wind with temperatures climbing to a high near 44.

Baltimore saw 9 daytime high temperatures above normal, with our warmest day of 58 degrees on January 29th. We saw a tie of our nightly highest low temperature for the month on the 1st and 31st at 39 degrees.

Meteorologist Ava Marie says to expect scattered snow showers and high winds as the snow will fall mainly between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. with a trace to 0.5" snow possible. Use caution as some unsalted surfaces could be slick.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Thursday morning for Montgomery County, ahead of forecasts of up to 1 inch of snow.
