Gohan ends up being Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's hero in the Cell Saga, but lets his arrogance get the best of him causing more death than needed.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot publisher Bandai Namco reveals even more screenshots for the action RPG, namely of Gohan, Cell, and Androids 16 and 17.

As we see from the Gamescom trailer, Gohan will be playable during the fight with Cell and during his training with Goku. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases in early 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
