Denver’s offense got a spark in the fourth quarter when Tyler Badie entered the game and made the most of his opportunities. Sticking with the hot hand, Broncos coach Sean Payton gave Badie all seven carries in the fourth quarter against the Bucs and the 24-year-old back totaled 70 yards on the ground.

Tyler Badie’s on the rise. Up the depth chart, yes, and now from the Broncos’ practice squad to the 53-man roster. The team signed Badie to the active roster Wednesday, giving him the spot that opened when inside linebacker Alex Singleton went on injured reserve with a torn ACL.

Badie was expected to be on the practice squad, but his big-play ability is earning him more playing time in Denver.

Have the Denver Broncos finally found an answer at the running back position? After a completely inept rushing output through the first two weeks versus the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers, the Broncos appeared to find some life on the ground by giving the ball to running back Tyler Badie.

In Week 4, running back Tyler Badie and the Denver Broncos' rushing attack will square off against the New York Jets and their 22nd-ranked run defense (129.3 rushing yards allowed per game). The game has a start time of 1:00 PM ET on Sunday.

The 2022 sixth-round pick saw the field sparingly in his first two seasons, but he's making the most of his early chances for the Broncos.

The Broncos have two other rookie running backs on their 53-man roster who they are not using. Fifth-round pick Audric Estime had two carries for 14 yards in the season-opener at Seattle, but suffered an ankle injury that placed him on four-week injured reserve. Undrafted rookie Blake Watson has been inactive through the Broncos’ first three games.
