Capcom is punishing me for wanting to play Monster Hunter Wilds with my friends
For groups of friends who want to genuinely play together, I'd honestly recommend giving Monster Hunter Wilds a miss. Which is a shame, because it's otherwise a brilliant game that's even better when you're slaughtering the wildlife with your pals.

To verify Monster Hunter Wilds on Steam, right click the game and select Properties. Under the Installed Files tab, select Verify integrity of game files. This process will take a few minutes and if it finds any errors or missing files, it will redownload them.
