The Met Office said: "An area of heavy rain will move in from the west late on Sunday evening, becoming widespread across the region early Monday, before clearing to the east Monday night.

It will predominantly affect higher ground in Gwynedd, in the early hours of tomorrow (Saturday), with further flurries extending to other parts including around Blaenau Ffestiniog and Bala, as Saturday progresses the latest charts predict.
