Taiwan-based Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) plans to boost production of LCD control boards, aiming to grab about 10% of the global market in 2004, the company said.

RTI has a solution that offers as much programming options as those other universal, LCD-equipped remotes, and this one can take a shower.

This board was soldered in to interface with the LCD controller’s bus. This allows data to be written from the 128k flash ROM on the custom board into the frame buffer.
