The opening date for the long-anticipated Nintendo San Francisco has been announced. The store, which will be located in SF’s struggling Union Square neighborhood, was announced last year with an opening date slated for some time in 2025.

The Kyoto-headquartered company currently has four other stores, three of which are in Japan (Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo), with one other U.S. flagship store in New York City’s Rockefeller Square, which has been open since 2005. It also has merchandise for sale at Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando.
