Steve Bannon has attacked Elon Musk over his plans to create a new political party. Speaking on his War Room podcast, President Donald Trump 's former chief strategist called out the South African-born billionaire, who has U.S. citizenship, and said he was "not American."

The tech billionaire, who has publicly feuded with President Trump, wrote on social media that he would be creating “the America Party,” though he hadn’t yet filed paperwork.

SpaceX and Tesla boss Elon Musk, who is a former ally of President Donald Trump, said on Saturday that he launched a new political party in the United States to challenge what the tech billionaire described as the country’s “one-party system.”
