In his farewell note, Sean McDermott reflected on his time in Buffalo, calling it a gift to wake up every day as the Buffalo Bills ’ head coach for nearly a decade.

Sean McDermott, the only head coach of Josh Allen’s NFL career, the coach he’s formed a strong bond with since arriving in Buffalo, is no longer with the Buffalo Bills.

McDermott, who was hired by the Bills on January 11, 2017, led Buffalo to the playoffs eight times and won five AFC East division titles.
