Firefighters recall dramatic rescue of teens stranded on island off of frozen river
Authorities said the teens had walked across the frozen creek to reach the island, but realized the ice was too unstable to cross again.
A sled was used to rescue two teen boys who got trapped. They were turned over to their moms, police in Bergen County said.
