The worst weather impacts of New Jersey's coastal storm are behind us, but there is still one more precarious high tide cycle coming up Monday afternoon.
A nor’easter churning up the East Coast is forecast to bring rain and heavy winds across the tri-state area throughout Monday. New Jersey is under a state of emergency as the storm could stir up wind gusts as strong as 60 mph along the coast.
Come Tuesday the atmosphere will begin shedding the Monday blues, and the rest of the week should be about as good as October gets. Highs should be in the low and mid-60s, a few shades below normal, with wall-to-wall sun through Sunday, forecasters say.
