The 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London is September 2016, so we're visiting The Monument with David Laird, and taking a trip to the top of the doric column in the City.

Four days after a small fire began "in a bakery in Pudding Lane " a lot of London had burned to the ground. Not just buildings made of wood but buildings made of stone too like St Paul’s Cathedral.
