Cook retired from the Nebraska volleyball program at the end of January. During his 25 years in Lincoln, he took the program to extraordinary heights. He finished his career 883-176 across 32 seasons.
The home of Nebraska volleyball will now be known as John Cook Arena at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The request was approved at the April 11 Board of Regents Meeting.
