With iOS 18, Apple now offers the ability to lock and hide certain apps on your device. Whenever you want to access the app, you have to input a passcode or biometric authentication to open it.
You can lock or hide individual apps on your iPhone using Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode for added privacy, and easily unlock or remove the lock when needed.
There are also some apps you can’t hide, but more on that in a moment. To lock an app that is lockable, like the Photos app, you’ll want to first find that app on your Home Screen.
