Fremont officers responded to the area of Fremont Boulevard and Delaware Drive and found a person down in the roadway. Emergency crews took the victim to a local hospital, where they later died. Police say the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation as the Traffic Investigations Unit works the case.
