The annual competition for the fastest draw in Amarillo took place Friday afternoon, June 6 at Rex Baxter "corral," with six competitors vying for the title at the TX 66 Celebrity Fast Draw Shoot Out.
A shootout Saturday at Cottonwood Grove pitted cowboy against cowboy and husband against wife and tourists vying for fastest draw in the West - or at least at Tanque Verde Ranch Resort, 14301 E.
