Al Trautwig, a sportscaster known for his work on MSG locally as well as the NHL and Olympics nationally, has died. He was 68.

Longtime MSG Network broadcaster Al Trautwig has died, his former teammate Alan Hahn revealed in a post on X. He was 68. Trautwig had told Newsday last year shortly after his 68th birthday that he had undergone cancer treatment, though he did not say what type of cancer it had been.
