Among the many items on the Seahawks’ to-do list in Green Bay is get a final assessment of their rookie class before cutdown date next week.

The Seattle Seahawks pulled a mini-surprise during the 2025 NFL draft when they selected offensive lineman Grey Zabel with the No. 18 overall selection. It wasn't totally shocking, because the Seahawks had been connected to Zabel throughout the pre-draft process.

Fixing the offensive line was a major focus for John Schneider, Mike Macdonald and staff this offseason and they made that clear as they used the 18th overall pick to select Grey Zabel. The unit has looked much improved in the preseason as Seattle has averaged 219.
