NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) — A pair of run-scoring hits from Juan Soto and Pete Alonso gave the New York Mets just enough offense in a 3-2 win over Milwaukee on Thursday. The Brewers tied the game at 1 in the 4th on an RBI base hit from Caleb Durbin. Soto and Alonso would do their damage in the 6th, giving the Mets a 3-1 advantage.

Brandon Nimmo homered again, Juan Soto came through with a tiebreaking single and the New York Mets held off the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 on Thursday night.
