Midland will distribute bottled water due to water pressure issues from a valve break at T-Bar Ranch. Residents urged to conserve water.

"The emergency bypass of the valve has been successful, but the installation took longer than anticipated," the city said.

Late Monday night, city officials, including Mayor Lori Blong, held a news conference to update residents on the ongoing situation.

Water pressure in Midland is nearly back to normal; however, the city is asking residents and businesses to continue conservation efforts, at least through Tuesday. On Saturday, city staffers distributed packs of bottled water to those who needed them after setting up in the east parking lot at Astound Broadband Stadium.
