Police in Jacksonville arrested a man who is accused of shooting his neighbor after an argument. According to the Jacksonville Police Department, officers were called to a shooting Monday evening on Plummer Street.

Jacksonville police are investigating after responding to two shootings on the evening of March 3. The first incident occurred on Plummer Street, where an adult male was shot twice by a neighbor after an argument.

The hospital at Naval Air Station Jacksonville is working to add staff with an aim of resuming 24-hour E.R. service by summer, a spokeswoman said.

Naval Hospital Jacksonville announced Monday that it is reducing its hours. The hospital, previously a 24/7 operation will now only be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning March 10, the hospital posted on it’s Facebook page.
