CINCINNATI — In a game the Iowa State women (16-8, 7-4 Big 12) never trailed in, the Cyclones beat the Cincinnati Bearcats (13-8, 5-6 Big 12) Wednesday night, 72-52. Audi Crooks led the Cyclones in scoring with 18 points, closely trailed by teammate Arianna Jackson's 17.

AMES − After a rough week against two of the toughest teams in the Big 12 Conference, the Iowa State women's basketball team will try to get back on track with some of the league's less formidable foes.

The Cyclones women beat Cincinnati 72-52 Wednesday night. Players were all smiles as they ran off the court, stealing a victory on the road for the first time since Jan. at Arizona. The Cyclones got what they desperately needed: Offensive production outside of center Audi Crooks and forward Addy Brown.

Iowa State played basically a two-person game Sunday against No. 9 TCU. Addy Brown and Audi Crooks combined to score 60 of Iowa State’s 69 points in the loss. The two also scored all of the team’s second-half points.
