Shortly after he was drafted by the Jets on April 29, 2022, Garrett Wilson watched a powerful video message that his dad, Kenny Wilson, read to him on camera. Amongst the advice Kenny delivered was, "Seek greatness, which is your destiny, not wealth. If you are great, wealth will come."

The New York Jets signed wide receiver Garrett Wilson to a four-year contract extension worth $130 million on Monday. The deal includes $90 million guaranteed. The Jets and Wilson's representation had been negotiating all offseason long.
