An Atlanta nonprofit dedicated to helping residents experiencing crises avoid jail time may resume services after a fight with the city over its contract.

After months of tension and back and forth with the City of Atlanta, a nonprofit that provides resources to help people in crisis avoid jail is inching closer to a new contract with the city, the nonprofit said Friday.

Atlanta visits Los Angeles for a non-conference matchup. Friday's meeting is the first this season between the teams.
