Adam Frazier will have a few familiar faces in the Kansas City Royals’ clubhouse. Frazier, 32, reunites with college teammates Chris Stratton and Hunter Renfroe this season.

The Royals announced that Mark Canha has returned from rehab assignment and has been designated for assignment. The 36-year-old right-handed hitter was originally acquired near the end of spring training from the Brewers for minor league pitcher Cesar Espinal.

Adam Frazier was an exciting offseason addition, but he's been very inconsistent in his first year with the Seattle Mariners. What should fans expect from him moving forward?

Frazier got off to a fast start last season with Pittsburgh, batting .324 with an .836 OPS and 28 doubles in 98 games. He was traded to San Diego in late July and faded over the final two months.
