The sand is soft and perfect for relaxing or taking a nice walk on the beach. The water is clear and there is little seaweed however it is very cold so I personally wouldn't plan on swimming long. In…Full review by RoseInTheDesert

The beach slopes up to the sidewalk not requiring steps. Further down the sand hills are steeper

Unfortunately not. If you have someone that needs a wheelchair it will not be a good trip.

We ate at a place called From Scratch and we loved it. Our dog was also treated very well. This is a very dog friendly town and most places allow dogs. They simply have outdoor seating to accommodate them. As has been stated already, I know Dametra also accepts them and this place was recommended to us but we have never dined there.

Try 13th st beach.... that's where most of the beach fires and volley ball seems to occur.

Does the beach park close at 2pm on Saturdays?

Yes! I googled it. Closes 2:00 on Saturday. closed on Sunday.
