If you have valuables - the public beach does have a security guard at the wash house and there is a life guard shack...also the beach chair $5/pp if you find them can hold on to your stuff. Might recommend going to the boat yard $25 US per person, includes chairs and there is a full bar/restaurant onsite - they can secure any any valuables

Hi it's about a 20 minute walk, or we got a taxi for $5 per person. Taxis will be waiting outside cruise terminal.
